Neighborhood Meeting to highlight DEP decision

Join us at a neighborhood event on Monday, October 17th at 12:30 pm. Members of Save Our North End Waterfront, local elected officials, and environmental leaders will be convening at the end of Lewis Wharf at high tide to highlight the disappearing piles at the site of a proposed luxury hotel.

Nearly one month after the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection issued its findings and stated that any pile that is not visible at high tide could not be used in the proposed Lewis Wharf development, the developers—Phillip DeNormandie and JW Capital—and the City of Boston have allowed the project to continue. Now, members of Save Our North End Waterfront are calling on the City of Boston to stop the project from moving forward.

Please join neighbors in highlighting DEP’s decision and ask the City of Boston to stop the proposed Lewis Wharf development from moving forward.
